Step behind the fog and help bring Skull Craft Street to life. Scare actors, scene operators, builders, makeup artists, safety crew, and Halloween maniacs wanted.
Skull Craft Street is not just a haunted display — it is a full-blown West Hills Halloween tradition. Every year we build a world of monsters, fog, lighting, props, storylines, sound, and neighborhood Halloween magic.
None of it happens without an incredible crew of volunteers helping bring the scares to life. If you have ever wanted to be part of something wild, creative, spooky, and ridiculously fun, this is your shot.
You are not just standing around holding a prop. You are stepping into a living, breathing Halloween universe with characters, storylines, hidden paths, lighting cues, fog, sound, scenic details, and carefully timed chaos.
We treat Halloween like a competitive sport. With better costumes. And more skeletons.
Pick your poison. Whether you want to scare guests, run effects, build scenes, help with makeup, or keep the night moving safely, there is a place for you in the Skull Craft crew.
Become a monster, ghost, creature, or something so twisted we have not invented it yet. You bring the energy — we supply the costume and the chaos.
Control lights, fog, sound cues, effects, props, and scene triggers. Great for anyone who loves tech or wants to boss around the darkness.
Help build, paint, wire, rig, decorate, repair, and fine-tune the haunt. If you are crafty, handy, or dangerous near a glue gun, this is your playground.
Help turn normal humans into nightmare fuel with makeup, masks, wardrobe, distressing, blood effects, and character details.
Help keep the night running smooth while still looking spooky. Perfect for anyone who likes helping guests without hiding in a coffin.
Assist with check-ins, setup, teardown, crowd flow, visitor questions, cleanup, supplies, and the tiny details that keep Halloween from falling apart.
No haunt experience is required. We train volunteers on the basics, explain the scenes, review safety expectations, and match people with roles that fit their comfort level.
Volunteers may be around fog, haze, low light, loud audio, props, wiring, tools, guests, children, pets, and moving equipment. We want scary scenes, not actual injuries. Very important distinction.
Everyone is expected to be respectful, sober, alert, careful, and responsible while volunteering.
Skull Craft Street operates on select nights throughout October. Volunteer needs may include setup days, operating nights, Halloween night, and teardown.
Volunteers may choose full-season participation or single-night shifts if your schedule is tighter than a coffin lid.
We will walk you through your role, scene timing, safety expectations, guest flow, and what to do when the fog machine gets a little too ambitious.
Tell us about yourself, your availability, preferred role, experience level, and whether you need community service hours.
